What is the difference between the SPX-1300 and SPX-7500?
Both the SPX-7500 and SPX-1300 provides a two conductor wired solution between reader and door or gate with peripheral I/O and panel. The SPX-7500 allows for additional doors/gates with I/O using Suprex Lynk technology. See EXP-2000 product for additional information

Yes, the SPX-7400 multimode or SPX-7410 single mode.
Can you have multiple handheld mobile readers in the same area without interference?
Yes. The individual readers can be set to different channels and/or frequencies
What is your return policy?
Cypress does not set returns policy for how its OEM's or Distributors deal with their customers. We encourage our OEM and distribution partners to maintain adequate stock levels to support their customers in a timely fashion. With the exception of warranty returns and repairs which Cypress honors as stated on out support page of the website.

Is it possible to convert wiegand readers to use ASCII or a serial protocol

Yes the SPX-7200 device will consolidate the hardware at the door or gate. The SPX-7200 is a 2 pieces solution which can be used on local or wide area networks
Is the a solution to communications problems when installing wiegand readers in elevators
Yes if using the traveler cables. The Suprex line of Cypress solutions includes the SPX-1300 which will consolidate the wiegand signals and the inputs and outputs over a filtered RS-485 2 wire connection that will correct communications issues. Wireless is another solution using any of the Suprex wireless reader extenders

There are a number of solutions using either 900 Mhz or 2.4 GHz. Line of site is preferred however Cypress offers repeaters to work around most installation issues.
